Dear Members of Pax Christi,
Our whole community has been following the rapidly changing situation these days with the increasing concern about the spread of the coronavirus. That includes me and the leadership of our parish. It is at times like this that we need most to be supportive of one another, yet we also need to attend to the physical health of all our parishioners and staff and not to expose ourselves to preventable dangers. With that in mind, we are making, reluctantly, some significant changes in our activities, at least for a little while.
Following the guidelines offered by the CDC yesterday afternoon and anticipating potential more guidance in the near future, the parish will be implementing the following:
• Until further notice, we will not be gathering for weekday Mass, Masses on Saturday or Sunday, nor the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
• Each week on our
website you can view a Livestream of the 5:00pm Saturday Mass. Following Mass it will be posted on our website to view anytime. The building will not be open for worshipers.
• The readings for the Sunday Masses will be posted with the Livestream feed.
• Fr. Mike’s homilies will continue to be posted each week -

• The building will be closed until further notice. Therefore all activities, including Faith Formation sessions, are cancelled.
• Please participate in electronic giving to support our ongoing ministries and operations -

• Continue to be attuned to communication via the website,
www.paxchristi.com, and if you are not already receiving our weekly email communication via Flocknote, please subscribe here –

• Although the building will be closed, the outdoor labyrinth and the path around the pond will be available for your quiet reflection and prayer, with the ability to breathe in the goodness of God who remains with us during these challenging times.
During this time of physical separation we will remain actively involved in supporting the ongoing life of our community. Staff will be working from home and will remain available for contact, and we will always be able to respond to critical pastoral situations promptly. Many of our activities will continue to be supported with online resources and electronic conversations. Feel free to remain in touch. In short, we are not "shutting down" during this time, but merely being prudent with how we do ministry. Let us hold one another in prayer until this threat passes...as it will. Thank you for your understanding, and stay well.
Fr. Mike
