Welcome to all new and old members of Boomers and Beyond. We are looking forward to the coming year. We have many new ideas and activities that we feel will be interesting to you. We would appreciate any new ideas or suggestions you may have during the year.

FIRST FRIDAY COFFEE AND CONVERSATION
Friday, September 6, beginning with Mass at 8:30am
NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Come and join other parishioners for Mass in the chapel at 8:30am, followed by coffee and hospitality. All are welcome!
BRUNCH AND SPEAKER,
YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE FIRST TALK IN A COMPARATIVE RELIGION SERIES
Can a 4,000 year old religion be described in one hour? He is going to give it the old synagogue try.
Wednesday, September 11,
beginning with brunch at 9:30am, $10 fee
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT REQUIRED BY SEPTEMBER 4:
We hope you will join us and invite your friends for an interesting and entertaining presentation by Rabbi Glaser. Rabbi Glaser is at Temple Israel in Minneapolis where he serves his congregation with his knowledge of Torah Kabbalah and Israeli culture, teachings, music, comedy, Jewish mysticism, and social justice. Volunteers will be needed on the day for checking in guests.

Mondays for 12 weeks beginning September 16, 3:00–4:00pm, fee of $36
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT REQUIRED:
Note new day - Mondays, September 16–December 16. No meeting on October 21 and November 25. This continuing series of chair yoga is a blend of standing and seated stretches for participants who want to do yoga but need something gentle. Focus is on range of motion for the joints, gentle stretches, standing postures and breathing, and relaxation. Instructor Denise Bunch has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. The cost is $36 per person for the 12 classes. Space is limited to 25 participants so sign up early. Questions? Contact Laurel Trimbo, firstname.lastname@example.org.
BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 3
FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN
Thursday, October 17, Chanhassen location
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED:
Come and join the Boomers and Beyond for a service project at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Chanhassen. Help feed kids around the world by working with other volunteers to pack special meals nutritionally formulated for starving children. These meals are shipped to nearly 70 countries through missionary partnerships. Plan to meet at the FMSC site. A place for lunch for participants interested in meeting afterwards will be chosen that day. You must register so the proper number of spots can be reserved.

Saturday, October 26 following the 5:00pm Mass
The Boomers and Beyond group will sponsor a room at the Annual Halloween Social. Volunteers will be needed. Watch for more information to follow.
