For the week of Sunday, May 19, 2019
Dear Members of Pax Christi,
Thank you for your generosity to the Twelve Baskets May Baby Shower Drive! Last evening, 13 shared ministers sorted and counted and six shared ministers delivered
85 packages of diapers, 85 packages of baby wipes, 22 containers of formula, 203 clothing items, 62 blankets/towels/crib sheets, and 220 other baby items that were delivered to Tandem (formally Tapestry Pregnancy), Life Care Center Minneapolis, Holy Rosary Church, Southwest Options for Women, Healthy Beginnings Program, and PROP. Additionally, our quilters ministry and other parishioners donated 35 beautifully crafted baby blankets, bibs, hats, and burp cloths.
In April, your weekly food donations to PROP reached 1,784 pounds, and our Holy Thursday offertory collection was $2,699.00, which was given in its entirety to PROP. As the end of the school year comes closer, the need for summer food for children serviced by PROP grows. Food donations that help PROP provide healthy meals to 700 children in Eden Prairie and Chanhassen are needed by June 1, with the most needed items being:
canned tuna in water
crackers (Ritz, club, townhouse)
Thank you for sharing your blessings with others!
Blessings to you this spring week!
